ABOUT ME
I am at the start of my career as a junior designer and am currently living in Sofia. I have experience working independently and in a team. As a person, I am open-minded, organized, and, most importantly, punctual. In the last two years, I found a passion for design and dedicated myself to learning the fundamentals and completing a number of courses.
My curiosity led me to learn graphic design in the last two years, which quickly became a job that I would prepare for and pursue. Having studied international business and marketing gives me a great advantage in supporting my career as a designer in different ways. It would allow me to tackle design problems with different perspectives and considerations in mind.

At the start of my education, software development sparked an interest, and I was determined to learn how to program as well as do it professionally. I had the opportunity to leave Bulgaria and continue my education in the Netherlands. It seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This was an easy decision as I like challenges.

During my time at UWC Maastricht, I have built friendships with people from all over the world. Graduating from this high school has shaped me as a person by becoming proactive, organized, and punctual. I was taught not only to embrace and respect cultural differences but to stand for mutual respect and responsibility.

2019 - 2023
I continued my university education in the marketing field. During this time, I started looking into user experience since I found many similarities with the study I was already doing. I saw an opportunity in this, as I can approach any problem with a marketer's or designer's mindset.
Given that I was fascinated by the field of economics in high school, I decided to continue with an International Business study in Eindhoven. I learned the fundamentals of business processes and concepts. After spending two years there, I returned to Bulgaria and resumed my bachelor's, changing it to Marketing.
COURSES & CERTIFICATES
As a starting designer, I wanted to get familiar with Adobe software and this is why I choose to start the SoftUni course. My initial goal was to get experience in every field of design and focus on a certain career path. During those couple of months, I gained valuable knowledge and skills which I continue building on.

In my opinion, learning the actual thinking process is far more important than any other skill. As I was introduced to human-centered design, user experience, and interaction design, it led me to pursue a career in web design. Adopting the design thinking process has changed the way I approach every project.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS
Despite my busy schedule I always seemed to find enough time to engage in various activities. I spent four years learning magic tricks and sharing the experience with friends and family. In addition, my interest in EDM music pushed me towards learning to DJ. Whenever possible I love spending time in remote nature places or taking a trip to a famous sightseeing location. Last but not least, I find autobiographies the most compelling along with self-improvement and psychology books.
